The NIST Time and Frequency Metrology Group was recently awarded funding for the project "Advanced Timing Metrology: 1000 improvement to enable new technical innovations" through NIST's Innovations in Measurement Science Program. This research will be done in conjunction with other groups in the Time and Frequency and Optoelectronics Divisions over the next five years.
